It's hard to keep a secret if you've seen the world
I took this shot of the setting sun along Saigon River. The surrounding colours were a bit dodgy perhaps due to the smog in the area so I decided to process it in black & white. Let me know what you think…
Making it B&W was a good idea.
Thank you so much for your comment, it’s highly appreciated indeed. I’m glad the photo turned out good. Cheers! :)
Mono was the perfect way to go. Nice tonality, great sky and reflections.
Thanks a lot John for your kind comment :) I just followed your blog to see what you’re up to as well. Cheers!
You are living in SaiGon? The picture look great! SaiGon is my city. I’m from Vietnam. Nice to meet you!
Hello, thanks for your comment. I’m from the Philippines and was just traveling in Saigon when I took the photo. Please follow my blog to see more of my shots taken in Vietnam. Nice meeting here in the cyberworld. Cheers! :)
I can see how smog could have washed out the photo. Good decision to go black & white. Makes the photo dramatic and interesting.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I hope to visit the majestic Palawan soon :)
